Dr. Mohammed Alamin Nurhussein

President

A physician, educator, and human rights advocate, Dr. Nurhussein brings decades of medical and community leadership to Wogahta.

Vice President

Elias brings more than 30 years of public service, including leadership roles at the U.S. Social Security Administration.

Secretary

Aziza brings over a decade of experience supervising home health aides and a commitment to compassionate, community-centered care.

Treasurer

With an economics degree and experience in real estate and nonprofit work, Hussen guides Wogahta’s financial stewardship.

Regional Director

An agricultural specialist with over 36 years of service in Ethiopia, Zahra helps shape Wogahta’s sustainable livelihood programs.

Meseret is a software engineer and iOS developer whose experience includes financial technology projects in New York and Addis Ababa.

Dr. Beyene has led agricultural research in Ethiopia and biomedical research in the United States, bringing scientific expertise to Wogahta’s board.
